This album contains tracks performed live at Garden of Memory in 2012, a walk-through musical event that celebrates the Summer Solstice. The ambient sounds of dripping water create a sonic environment of relaxation and immersion into the quintessential experience of time and nature, which is the essence of the Summer Solstice.

"Garden of Memory is a yearly walk-through musical event that celebrates the Summer Solstice. Hosted by New Music Bay Area, and curated by Sarah Cahill, the event takes place in the Chapel of the Chimes, a columbarium multilevel maze of interior gardens, alcoves, pools, and antechambers ingeniously designed by architect Julia Morgan in Oakland, California.

Since 2007 I have been performing yearly in the Garden of Eternal Wisdom. This album contains live tracks played at the 2012
concert. The sound of dripping water comes from the four fountains in the garden and is one of the sources of my inspiration. The rest of the ambient sounds create the sensation of being in the garden with me.

This album is dedicated to those who lie behind those walls, who rest in those cinerary urns, and those whose souls are still riding their journey to liberation. With deep gratitude to the miracle of life, and acceptance of the inevitability of death." - Laura Inserra
